Track list Breakdown
“The Rebirth” (1:16) – A lot of stating the album title and his name. I get it, but not really. Press next.
“Make You the Only One” (4:23) – An up-tempo slow track clouded with instrumental (in a good way). A track the ladies wish that guy would take into consideration. Bobby’s simple saying stop beating around the bush and make it official.
“Hands On Me” (4:18) – Temptation is hard to avoid. The challenge of staying faithful is hard to overcome especially when you’re being influenced. Those who tidier on that line of staying faithful and cheating can relate to this one. Listen!
“My Girl” (3:50) –
“Butterfly Tattoo” (3:58) – An appreciative track to all those ladies with beautiful body art. How she wears it, where it is on her body and how she flaunts it.
“Just Me & You” (3:53) – Gives an old school feel like type of sound. Something to slow it down with and just get intimate.
“Beep” (4:10) – Probably the best track on the album. The baby-maker of the album. The reference to a beeping noise, trust me, has nothing to do with a car.
“3 Is the New 2” (4:38) – A bedroom jam for the freaks! Valentino comes out of his sexual shell by letting every one know that a 3rd wheel isn’t a crowd when it comes to the bedroom.
“Make You Say” (4:02) – The notion that she’s so beautiful that it’s a “wow” factor. Infatuated, lust and urge to make her yours is all over this track.
“Be My Love” (4:10) –
“Dance the Night Away” (1:43) – Interlude. Could have turned this into a record though. Disappointed.
“On the Edge” (4:11) – Relatable song of how it’s hard to move on. “On the Edge,” tells the story of how you’re still holding on to what once was and your significant is or has moved on. A well-delivered track.
“You’re Not Alone” (4:28) – The ever had to be there for someone type of track. I call it the “rebound” track.
“Stay With Me” (4:30) – An emotional cry out for that one and only. A track that can easily be a reason she does in fact stays with you. Bobby gets deep and personal on this one.
“Another Life” (6:08) – A slow jam that makes reference to how it just can’t just work with you and that person. Bad timing and your situations just won’t allow it but the idea of maybe keeping hope for it to happen under different circumstances.
“Give Me Your Heart” (4:20) – A title that has the potential to be good but the track doesn’t compliment that. Unfortunate. Too gospel-esque and less R&B.
‘Your Smile” (Bonus Track) (4:29) – Never a fan of the background sounding like people hand-clapping but this track isn’t so bad. A track that insists how something as simple as a smile can turn someone out. A bonus track…eh, fell this could of helped the previous 16.
